As mentioned in my previous posts, this new version of AD Tidy will come in two editions like most of my other apps – a free edition and a standard edition. This post will explain the differences between them along with release dates and pricing.
Anyone following this blog will know that for the last couple of months I’ve been busy working away on re-writing AD Tidy from scratch – and I’m pleased to announce that it is getting very close to being finished, so I have now released a public BETA version.
Recently I posted a couple of screenshots of the new version of AD Tidy that I’m currently working on, and in this post I’m going to explain more about the new features and capabilities of this new version.
AD Tidy was one of the first programs I released and has been one of my most popular free tools, with tens of thousands of downloads since it was released. Well I’ve now started re-writing it from the ground up and thought I would provide some early screenshots and details so you know what you can expect.
Its been a while since I released an update for my free Active Directory last logon tool, AD Tidy. So today I released a new version that includes a few user requested features along with a couple of changes I have been meaning to make for a while. Read on for details…
Happy new year to everyone, hope you all had a great Christmas…I’m sure it was better than mine anyway, as I managed to get a cold on Christmas day that I have only just recovered from.
Anyway, to celebrate the new year (ok so maybe its nothing to do with the new year…) I have been busy finishing off a new version of my free AD Tidy application . Most of the new features were requested features so thanks to those that took the time to send me an email asking for these as I’m sure they will be useful to lots of people. You can find a list of changes and a download link below.
It was 7 weeks ago today that I released AD Tidy and I just noticed it has now had over 2000 downloads from my site alone (it’s uploaded to a few other sites so there’s probably a couple of hundred more downloads on top of that).
Just wanted to say thank you to those that have given feedback on it, sent me a quick thank you email/comment, or donated. It is great to hear that it is helping plenty of fellow IT Pros out and hopefully my next app will be just as useful to all of you 🙂

I’m pleased to report that the first BETA version of my Active Directory clean up tool is now ready for public testing. I have tested it as much as I can on a variety of networks, so now its time for other people to take it for a spin and let me know what they think.
